Parents are urged to allow their children to do the work and the preparation of the exhibits without assistance. Please encourage them in every way to get their exhibits to the fair. The directors will take every precaution to secure the safety of the exhibit but cannot be responsible for and loss or damage.
How to fill out the entry form/tag:
Example: Class: 38
Section: 1
Article: Two decorated cookies
Exhibitor Number: (will be assigned by the secretary)
Name: (of exhibitor)
Address: (your full address including your parents/guardians name)
Note: Entries may be made in a class of an older group than that of the exhibitor. Please write the age of the exhibitor in the top corner of the entry tag, as that is taken into consideration when judging.
Specials listed in Class 39 are open to all age groups Junior Department. (Except where specified)
Rules:
- An exhibitor must fill out an entry form and securely attach entry tags with exhibitor number to each of their exhibits. There is no fee to enter.
- An exhibitor may only show 1 item per section.
- Entry must be made by the exhibitor (except where stated)
- All baking to be removed from containers and displayed on white paper plates and/or enclosed in plastic bags.
- Sample of material to be attached to sewing projects.
- All exhibits remain on display until 4pm. If exhibit is removed before this time all prize money is forfeited.
- Prize money will be mailed, please make sure a parent/guardians name is clearly written on the entry form as cheques will be issued to them for children under 10 years of age.
Class 35 PRE-SCHOOLERS

Class 37 JUNIORS (6 – 9 years old)

Class 22 Culinary Competitions for the Junior Baking Contest
O.A.A.S. Plain Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition. Open to Youth up to 15 years (as of the current year). Three plain chocolate chip cookies, with no nuts are to be no larger than 3” (6.75 cm) and no smaller than 2” (5 cm), displayed on a firm disposable plate inside a clear plastic bag with exhibitors name and address on the exhibitors tag. To be judged on presentation, appearance and flavour.
